Woman has received mystery hand-delivered Christmas card for 20 years - addressed to a couple she doesn't know

A homeowner has received a mystery hand-delivered Christmas card to a couple she does not know for the past 20 years.
The card addressed to “Lynne and Bob” arrives at Angie Kenney’s home every December from a woman called Eileen.

Angie, 45, has never spotted the sender delivering the card and is desperate to solve the mystery.
This year for the first time the letter came with a 1950s black and white photo of a couple on holiday and reads: “Happy Christmas to you both, love Eileen xx”
An eerie note next to the snap says: “I found this photo while sorting out and know you will love it.”
Mum-of-two Angie, from Whetstone, Leics., said: “The card is always hand-delivered.

“When the card came through the door last week I actually heard the letterbox go.
“I went to the window to see who it was, just in case it was the person who brings the card.
But by the time I got to the window there was no sign of anyone, which was a bit spooky.
“I don’t know where the cards are coming from but no one called Lynne and Bob has ever lived here.

“I’ve been here for the past 20 years and before me there was a woman called Margaret. It’s really strange and it bugs me every year.”

Angie is now hoping the black and white holiday snap will finally help solve the mystery.

She said: “The photo shows a man and a woman holding the hands of a little girl, who’s probably aged about seven or eight at the time the photo was taken.
“It looks like it was probably taken in about the early 1950s.

“They’re a very smiley family - it’s a happy, beautiful photo and it needs to be reunited with someone who would appreciate it.”
