The cream of the fashion crop gathered last night at the Royal Albert Hall as they celebrated the best in British fashion.
The
British Fashion Awards is always an awaited occasion on the industry
calendar, and Monday night's red carpet was certainly looking hotter
than we’ve ever seen it before.
Not only was there home grown talent such as Kate Moss and Erin O'Connor, but the beauties were joined by international models also.
It's hardly a surprise that all eyes were on Gigi Hadid in her sensational silver Atelier Versace jumpsuit.
Amongst
the models, there were TV personalities and designers too, including
the world renowned Donatella Versace and Alessandro Michele for Gucci,
who looked rather festive in a metallic jacquard suit.
But forget
the gaudy Christmas sparkle, it may be December, but thankfully there
weren’t too many sequins in sight. The stars took a more stylish
approach to after dark dressing - with little black dresses and subtly
sexy, off shoulder detailing being among some of our favourites.
Here’s who’s we've given our best dressed awards to…
1. Gigi Hadid

She
did it! Gigi Hadid was crowned International Model of the Year beating
her pal Kendall Jenner to the post. It seems she can do no wrong at the
moment, and we’ve got to give it to her, she pulled out all the stops in
this amazing Atelier Versace silver jumpsuit. Between the delicate
draping and choker detailing, the Victoria's Secret angel earned herself
another top spot in our book.
2. Naomi Campbell
Naomi was a sheer delight (Photo: Getty) Supermodel Naomi was a sheer delight in this embroidered Alexander McQueen
gown. Paying homage to the designer's Spring/Summer 17 runway
collection, the design was a perfect fit for showing off her fabulous
figure. At 46, this is a woman who’s not ready to fade into the fashion
background just yet… and with a body like that who can blame her.
3. Mollie King
Mollie went for the plunge (Photo: WENN) Flying the flag for a new fashion brand, we loved Mollie’s
take on winter florals. Wearing a floor-length design by Couturissimo,
the singer
looked effortlessly stylish. We adore the cold shoulder detailing and
the provocatively pretty plunge too - this blonde is blooming beautiful.
4. Olivia Palermo
The style queen didn't let us down (Photo: WENN) In true Palermo fashion, Olivia
brought her A-game to the British Fashion Awards. The white printed
dress, by Peter Pilotto was daringly different to all the rest which is
why we love it so. Not only did it allow her to parade her amazing pins,
its floaty fabric was delicate and stunningly striking for the
occasion. Pairing with some clashing velvet boots by Jimmy Choo, and a
Nathalie Trad clutch, the stylish socialite made it her own and one to
remember.
5. Donna Air
Donna sparkled in a LBD Nothing creates instant style quite look at little black dress. Take Donna Air’s
demure Milly Design, it’s midi length and subtle sparkle is
oh-so-ladylike and chic. Not to mention those turquoise satin heels by
Marco De Vincenzo are to die for. She might just give K-Middy a run for her money in this fabulous ensemble.
