Pixie Lott and Oliver Cheshire's most stylish moments of 2016 so far as they announce their engagement

Move over Posh and Becks, there’s a new hot style couple on the fashion scene. Pop princess Pixie Lott , and her model boyfriend, who regularly fronts Marks & Spencer’s menswear campaigns Oliver Cheshire, announced their engagement this week and we’re forecasting we’ll be seeing a whole lot more of them on the fashion front.


The couple who have been dating since 2010, are favourites on the FROW at London Fashion Week and certainly aren’t shy when it comes to flaunting their love for all things fashionable. There's denying they’ve fast become style icons in their own right and have a very loyal following.

 Singer-turned-actress Pixie, is now not only recognised heavily for her musical talents, but also her signature style - which is vastly influenced by her favourite era, the swinging sixties. With her neatly waved blonde locks and love for cute co-ordinating sets and micro mini's, we can’t help but compare her to a modern day Brigitte Bardot.

We love Pixie’s quirky style, which combines standout prints, retro style dresses, classic Bretons, cute crop tops and adorable accessories. The star isn't when it comes to mixing up high street, vintage and designer pieces either.

 While flying the flag for the British High Street you’ll regular spot the blonde bombshell wearing some of her favourite designers which include D&G, Moschino, Fendi and Mulberry to name just a few. All of which make her wardrobe choices influential to onlookers.

The same goes for her newly appointed fiancé Oliver, who will give any dapper gentleman a run for his money (watch out Gandy and Becks.) The model sure knows how to sport a three-piece suit and styles his casual wear like a pro. He’s even got his very own fashion blog iwearthetrousers.com .

With that said, it’s not hard to see why these two are a match made in style heaven. Here are a few of our favourite looks of the year so far…

1. Pretty in pink

Rubbing shoulders with the A-list at the Chopard party in Cannes Film Festival this year, the attractive twosome were picture perfect. Pixie’s baby pink gown by Blumarine’s SS16 collection was delicate, accessorised with luxury Choppard jewels and her beau Oliver looked super smart in a black tux.

2. The co-ord couple

Are they taking inspiration from the Beckhams here? The cute couple were spotted twinning in the South of France. Channelling Rivera chic in blue and white hues, their combo was a perfect fit for a stroll in the sun. With Oliver wearing a retro Reiss polo and Pixie in her flirty frilled mini dress, they’re definitely a match made in heaven.

3. Red hot

 

There’s no denying this couple are red hot and they didn’t disappoint at Will.i.am’s recent sneaker launch in Harrods. On this occasion, Oliver chose a checked double breasted suit partnered with a simple white tee, while Pixie was a lady in red wearing a printed Fendi dress. Simply sizzling.

4. Belles of the ball

 

The pair made a glittering appearance at the M&S Summer Ball back in May this year. While Ollie looked as dapper as always in none other than an M&S double breasted suit, Pixie chose a metallic illusion frock by Vicedomini and black handbag by Marchesa. It was a shining example of how these two can pile on the glamour.

5. Green with envy

 

  Making Audrey Hepburn her latest muse, the 25-year-old Breakfast At Tiffany’s star modernised the classic midi shift in shimmering green sequins. Her mini gold D&G ’Sicily’ frame bag was another nod to the era that most inspires Pixie’s style. She was of course accompanied by her handsome man who effortlessly worked a mix of smart/casual tailoring…will they ever get it wrong?
