Florida man's backyard bird bath visited by owl and bear

DEBARY, Fla., Nov. 4 (UPI) -- A Florida man who planted a camera by his bird bath to record late-night visitors captured footage of a visiting owl -- followed by a bear.
Tom Pierce posted a video to Facebook showing a small owl splashing around in the bird bath at his DeBary home around 11 p.m. Wednesday.




The video also shows footage from a few hours later, just before 7 a.m. Thursday, when a bear dropped by the bird bath to sniff around -- possibly detecting the recent owl visit.
Pierce said he has previously recorded bears visiting the bird bath and his backyard fountain.
